Why BenueConnect exists
Benue is Nigeria’s food basket and one of its most culturally rich states, with millions of people at home and a large, capable diaspora. Yet information about opportunities, government decisions, local businesses and community life is scattered across group chats, notice boards and word of mouth — and much of it never reaches the people it is meant for.
Global social networks connect us to the world but not to our ward. BenueConnect starts the other way round: from the ward and LGA outward. It gives every community, institution and citizen in Benue a shared, trusted place to be found, be heard and take part — and gives indigenes abroad a living link to home.

Independent, and here to serve
BenueConnect is an independent platform built for Benue State. It is not owned by government or any party. Government bodies participate as verified Official accounts, on the same platform as the citizens they serve.
Safe, respectful, moderated
Hate speech, incitement, harassment, fraud and misinformation have no place here. Our community standards are enforced by a moderation team and by members who can report content in one tap.
